On the weekend of 3-5 June 2005 on the shores of Lake Maggiore Italy, a group of passionate, action-oriented people came together from organizations all around the world, to discuss their visions for peace on the planet.

Speakers ranged from representatives of the United Nations and World Bank to Tibetan and Mayan spiritual leaders. Talks focused on the areas of education, media, science, economy and spirituality, and suggested practical ways in which we can apply these visions to global and local systems.

Australia's Dana Mrkich spoke on the Media Panel about the power and the potential of the media as a tool for the facilitation of inner and outer peace, to influence positive change, and be a force in the creation of a new reality.
