It's kind of a waste to give seeds to the kitten, though, since when he grows up, he's actually replaced by a different character (despite being the same cat)

Usually I do this as well but sometimes I give them to the party members who need them.

I always give powerups like seeds, acorns, whatever to the hero, regardless of the other characters abilities. It just seems like the hero should get them.
