I love the Jacksons, through all of their ups and downs...however one thing that seems constant with many of them....is that they suffer from an acute case of 'selective' memory syndrome....for instance, at 2 years old, she was still a toddler in Gary not L.A....she was like 4 or 5 when she moved to Calif. I also find it interesting that she and Latoya wanted to study 'business law'...hmmm

@Noirefemme I was watching something recently about Michael that said they [the family] moved to Calif. in 1969, now depending on the month, Janet would have been 2 yrs. old. She was born in 1966. The story I've always heard (and she's always said) was that she was 2 when they moved to Calif. I just recently learned that LaToya wanted to study business law too. I always knew Janet did. That's interesting. I guess we would have to find out for sure exactly what year they actually moved.

@Miss1913 ,Thanks for responding, and let me begin by stating that your site,a tribute to Miss J is fantastic. I thought her bros.were signed to Motown in late 68/early 69....I was always led to believe that the J5 moved to LA in 69 (staying with the Gordy family , while Marlon and Michael stayed with Miss Ross). The other members (Mrs. Jackson, LaToya, Randy and Janet) followed in 70, which would have made her either 3 or 4....digressing, are you a member of the greatest sorority-1913?

@Noirefemme Thanks for responding back. I agree with what you're saying, b/c I've also heard/seen the story told that way as well..which is probably correct. Thanks for the compliment on my site. To answer your question...yes I am a member of the greatest sorority ;) I just have to say, I like when people can have real/civil discussions about things on YouTube (or any forum) instead of alot of the negative ways I see people respond to each other.
