1 week without uploading this... Sorry about that. I was blocked with this story, but here's the next chapter :) Sorry if it's boring. This is one is more like a filler, but I really like it. Specially the ending ;) Anyways...

~Author's POV~
After talking for a while in the backyard, Joe and Demi decided to go inside again. Kevin and Nick were still talking and Paul was watching T.V. Joe grabbed Demi's hand and pull her to the couch were Kevin and Nick were sited.
"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Joe asked as he sat down by Kevin's side, pulling Demi to sit in his lap. Demi looked at him with a surprised expression, wondering if it was ok to do that in front of his family. Joe just ignored her and as Demi looked around nobody seemed to care, so she guessed it was ok.
"Nothing. Just random things." Kevin explained. "So Demi, we've never had the chance of getting to know each other." He said, changing the topic.
Demi giggled "Well, what do you want to know?"
"Since you're my brother's girlfriend and you're going to spend a lot of time with us, I need to know everything." he joked. And that's how another conversation started. Demi and Kevin started talking about each other and Joe and Nick would talk once in a while, helping Kevin finish with some of his stories about when he was little. They laughed, sometimes so hard that tears would come out of their eyes. But they weren't sharing stories only about Kevin. Funny baby stories of Joe and Nick would come up as well. Even Paul came into the conversation. They were all having a great time and Demi was glad that Joe's family could share moments like that with her.
"Well, I don't want to sound like killjoy, but it's getting late." Paul said. "You can still stay here and talk if you want, but I have work tomorrow so I'll go to bed."
"I'm going to bed as well." Kevin said. "I'm a little tired."
"And I don't want to be a third wheel so I'm going to bed as well." Nick said making everyone laugh. They all said goodnight and went to their rooms except for Joe who was still with Demi in the living room. Demi stood up from Joe's lap and let out a big sigh.
"Hey, where are you going?" He asked.
Demi giggled "There's enough room for me to sit down now." she explained.
Joe pouted "But I like having you on my lap."
"Don't worry, I'll still be by your side." she said, sitting close to him. "Besides, I need to go home in a little." Joe looked down at her, waiting for her to look up at him. "What?" she asked.
Joe shook his head, smiling "Nothing. I just love you so much." He said.
Demi smiled "I love you, too."
Joe leaned down until their lips met. He tried to pull her close by putting his hands on his waist. Demi moved closer, suddenly putting her knees at the side of his legs, straddling him without breaking the kiss.
"Whoa guys! Keep it PG! There's people here!" Nick said walking down the stairs, making them pull away quickly.
"Sorry!" Demi said giggling.
"Don't mind him" Joe said, pulling her face close to his, kissing her again. Demi smiled into the kiss, letting a giggle escape from her lips. Nick just rolled his eyes and kept on walking.
