I took my HGV1 test in a 1969 Atki during the hot summer of 1976. I was out first thing in the morning when all the kids were going to school and the examiner took me down narrow roads with cyclists everywhere. Happy days!

yeh it just keeps the wheels on the ground. the axle is a 13T under slug, so she is very jumpy with no trailer.

Excellent video,you've made my day! I used to drive Atki 8 wheel tipper in London in late 1980s! It had "real mans gearbox" too! Wonderful sound!

@firglenchainsaws thanks, 8 wheeled tippers are the best looking atki's i think. fuller boxes are fantastic, but are a swine if you miss one, wich i do from time to time.
