Former Maldivian President, Mohamed Nasheed, speaks exclusively to Al Jazeera's Steve Chao about what he calls a 'coup' to oust him from power.

This video was shot prior to his arrest by the military junta.

Maldivian president was removed by a military coup with the support of the opposition and radical islamist elements. The very next day the military went out against the public brutally beating them. Some members of the former ruling party are now in ER.
