Reading The Collapse of Glabalism at the moment. Would highly recommend his earlier book, the Unconscious Civilisation.

Saul is a genius, I really like his books. I've just been reminded of this after picking up and reading Unconscious Civilization.

I wish I could believe that Globalism, the police state, all the wars, drug money laundering, ridiculous arrogance & corruption of lawyers, criminal pharmaceutical industry, etc, etc,.. was the result of bad ideology, and he makes an excellent case for this in Unconscious Civilization, but there is just so much empirical evidence to the contrary.

The GFC and all that will soon follow (GFC is just the entree) has been 'foretold' for millennia and especially in the last decades.

Gold backed currencies will be here soon and the 2012 (Ascension) ramifications further to that. Sound crazy?

Perhaps death in this instant is best regarded as metaphor for weakness and inherent failures - death of an illusion. This might not be what Saul intended, but with our trudging down the same yellow brick road of fantasy who can see any end?
