  • Took me awhile but you have to go to Edit>Preferences, then select the Devices tab and check the box that says "Look for iphone and ipod touch remotes. By default it is not on. Not sure why. Hope this helps!

  • I love apple more than any other computers

  • thats cool!

  • I enter the code then my iphone cant find the library help

  • Do you have to have a Mac to do this? Because it won't connect! :( My iTunes says its connected, but my iPhone says it can't find my iTunes library!

  • You got good music mate;p

  • how come i dont see my ipod in the devices list ??

  • I have the "look for iphone..." box ticked. I have disabled my Windows Firewall and my Bitdefeder Firewall, and after plugging in my iPad, it just shows up in itunes, like any other mobile apple device. No mention of a 4-digit code.

    What else could it be?

  • umm... it wont show up in devices... and i even have the option in preferences checked "look for ipod remotes... any help please?

  • hi, I also had same trouble of the 4 digit code not showing in my itunes. All u gotta do is make sure you have your wire-fall settings set in a way that it allows your computer to remotely access devices. You can select individual wirefall settings and tick mark all the components that deal with remote access. Hope this helps!
