Very nice video. I always buy frozen fillets, but I may try my hand at this. Also, it was interesting to know why they always have that slit on one end.

@bestestmama I am unsure what you mean. As a side note, I love farmed fish, I just prefer the higher tech methods, such as the Kona Kamachi model. A lot of the tilapia we get now a days tastes "crowded" if you know what I mean. I am lucky enough to have a lake that is geothermic and warm enough to sustain a wild population of these tasty guys. Too bad it's a 2 and half hour drive away!

That's cool. Too bad the fish itself freaks me out :( I still will not even touch a fish. I am interested is growing/farming Tilapia at home. Are Tilapia in the US normally this big?
