"science was meant to glorify god" No, you don't even understand what science IS. Science is the seeking of knowledge and learning through the scientific method. It is completely secular. It is not made to glorify anything, it was meant to help us discover new truths about the world we live in. Francis Bacon never mentioned that the scientific method was meant to glorify any god whatsoever.

ive heard it was December to late January could have been his birth.

@MobileThinker well to be fair, with "glorifying god" statement, it was under the (false) condition - for the sake of argument - that the bible is true

@heythinkaboutit (cont.5) finally, i will point to the long list of transitional fossil, which you will no doubt right off as nonexistent immediately. i want you to do me a favor. actually read some of the scientific literature on evolution, in peer-reviewed scientific journals, look up studies by biologists, and compare it to the data and 'evidence' put forth by 'creation scientists'. if you still hold the view that evolution never occurs, i would love to talk to you over skype, or something.
-
@heythinkaboutit (cont.4) the first example i will provide is the easiest for anyone to conceive. when someone is treated with antibiotics for an illness cause by bacteria, that bacteria sometimes mutates and gains resistance to that antibiotic. that mutation is evolution at work. next is fairly easy as well. the common banana, which is not my nightmare, lol, as been changed by man. this is called 'Artificial Selection'. Artificial Selection is evolution used on a minor scale by humans.

@heythinkaboutit (cont.3) this is one of the most interesting statements i have ever read. what you seem to be claiming is that evolution has not been proven absolutely, if i am wrong correct me. that is true, science makes no absolute claims. it cannot. evolution has stood the test of time, and the test of hundreds, if not thousands, of scientists and 'creation scientists' trying to falsify it. i will provide you with a couple examples of evolution.

@heythinkaboutit (cont.2) is it not logical to assume that if a perfect being created another being, the resulting being would be perfect as well? now consider the story of Jobe, i think it is. the man who loves god so much that when god allows satan to take away his family, his livestock, and give him boils he still loves god. now why would an all loving god allow such a thing to happen? now lets talk about evolution. you claim 'Evolution has no proof at all and it's in the textbooks.'
-
@heythinkaboutit (cont.) or 'you can't use human logic, god's plan is bigger than us'. there are many other problems with the god of the bible. consider the flood story. it is entirely impossible for the earth to be covered in water, such a short time ago, and be in the state it is now. that amount of water would not only change the geography, but also the weather patterns for centuries. now consider god being perfect again. how is it that a perfect being was able to create a flawed creation?
is your brain really that broken? science was NEVER about glorifying god. it was about finding the truth of the universe, it just turned out that science is starting to completely destroy the 'god hypothesis'. please just stop.
