Slipformed Curb & Gutter on Polish Highway, 2010 (top view)

This curb & gutter is being poured by a Irish company who entered the Polish market in 2010. Curb-Tec Europe co-owner and president, Krzysztof Stroinski, is acting as jobsite supervisor for them. Crew consists of both Irish and Polish men. There have been a few jobs in the past 18 months in which the general contractor owns their own machine and did this type of work but this is the first job in Poland that the pour-in-place slipform curb & gutter was subcontracted out on a national road project. Job has progressed well, proved by the general contractor being extremely satisfied and adding more curb to pour to the original agreement bringing the close of the project into Spring 2011 at least.
