I recognize the pharmacy(and red sculpture in the front). When were you in town? We also use the HVX-200a, and have been considering the red rock for some time now.

Yeah I believe the wire was supposed to be visible. A play on one of those low-budget cheesy martial arts movies/shows. Is why it was so staged together with "belt-like" foley FX.

at 4:04 is the wire suposed to be visible? Or just a minor mistake, otherwise I love it, great shooting! Wish I had a budget for a short film... For now i'll have to stick with my hvx/m2e and watever shooting locations i can get away with :)

Do you mean the vignetting? It was hard to avoid with the original M2, but you don't get it anymore with the Encore. As far as this goes, I see a bit of it, but if you push in on your video camera zoom a good amount, it generally minimizes it.

I always use the same basic settings. For gamma I use the B-Press setting. As far as detail goes, I usually set it to +1 and my master ped to -3
These are the only things I generally change from the default. This was shot on 1080i, per the director's request, but I normally shoot everything at 720 24PN
