BA/BS-MD Program

The BA/BS-MD degree program is a new partnership between the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. The program seeks to create a talented and broadly diverse group of physicians who will provide outstanding medical care for Coloradans for generations to come.

Each year, the program will recruit 8 to 10 outstanding students from diverse backgrounds into the program. Those admitted must be committed to serving the health care needs of Colorado. Once admitted to the BA/BS-MD program, students earn a provisional admission to medical school from the time they enter college...as long as they keep their grades up and score well on the MCAT.
