@rylwulf1935 Actually she does miss the last note of her solo. In the movie quite a big deal is made out of it. She tries and tries to hit it but fails. When she finally does a mouse comes out of her horn. It became her good luck charm. Maybe she should have had it clipped on here. The note is only a high C. She also has her finger in the ring...maybe that leads to the flat fingers. Don't get me wrong; I absolutely loved the movie. These kids are kickass players.

snailzillascreator.. apparently you think you're a musician, maybe even a trumpet player but let me give me a lesson from soneone who is. What is the last note you said she didn't know? Tell me the letter. Second, Apparently Doc Sevenson hasn't heard about playing with flat fingers. He seems to get along OK. A lot of great trumpet players do it. These are high school girls. If you are a player, what's your high note? What do you think the girl's range is? Do you improvise?

Somehow this video makes me believe Japan will survive her current crisis and thrive once again... Lordy, this is great to watch and listen to.
It also makes me think of Haiti and New Orleans and scratch my head... ;-(
