GHRF 2009: Life-long vocational education by stage of life

Changes in environments surrounding labor markets are increasing the premiums of technologies and skills. In the current situation wherein various forms of employment emerge and the problem of mismatches between jobs and vocational abilities is becoming serious, opportunities to reduce the mismatches and enhance the ability to adapt should be provided. Strengthening social partnerships such as sector councils aimed at a more effective connection between education & training and fields, increasing access to training through e-learning, increasing opportunities for education as well as improving the outcomes of learning through the Individual Learning Accounts systems in the USA, strengthening basic vocational ability programs for literary comprehension and mathematical ability, and increasing regional and social opportunities for education can all be considered to be part of the methods of education & training aimed at increasing the possibility of employment. In-depth discussions on various methods and subjects of education & training aimed at increasing the possibility of employment are required.
