buicks rule i have 1970 455 in my monte with 430 heads cam intake headers stock bottom end runs 12.70s on 87 octane and has 2.41 gears,lol.gets 17 mpg on hwy.

just how stock is this car? any modifications besides the stroke and exhaust? is it street legal? whats the gear ratio?

Our car is at least 300pounds heavier, best run (we made 24 runs with new engine setup) is a 10.764@194KPH with a 10.7 compression 475CID pump gas engine.

Simply bad to the bone! It is wonderful to see a full body GS perform this flawlessly in full body trim. Congratulations on superb engine / drive train combination and of course, a great competent driver.
