How should it be made transparent to make it a crystal wine glass? You can do so much more with your brain off than I can with mine on.

@dgndgndgn well, if you are looking for some more beginner tutorials, i made a few on my channel. I tried to do them as thoroughly as possible - so they do drag on for quite a while - but the basics have to be covered i belive.

you can go to the 'Feed' Tab under your channel's name and click 'comments' next to 'activity' and you'll see all the comments there :] oh nice tutorial btw, but how do you make it transparent and realistic looking?

Thanks a ton. I had no knowledge of this at all. (For people familiar with modeling with a background image, you might wanna jump ahead to the 6:30 mark or so, as the first half is mostly the modeling of the outline of a wine glass.)
