This is a replica of the first Piper Cub powered by a Salmson radial engine. It is from the Al Kelch Collection and was run at the MAAC flyin 2008, Brodhead, WI.
It's located at the antique aircraft airfield in Brodhead, Wisconsin. Yearly flyin to all Antique Aircraft Association members. Really unusual and rare planes there. Great Flyin.
Wow. I should have figured that if I had thought about it, somebody would eventually do it. Congratulations! I've got a 1940 J-3C-65, I've always had a pipe dream to fly an E-2. How does she fly and where are you folks located?
Shame someone doesn't make replica engines too. Sounding GREAT!!! Hope it flies as good as iot sounds!!!
