SeaWorld San Diego's animal rescue team rescue between 150 - 200 marine mammals every year, ranging from sea lions to seals to dolphins. Nearly 70 percent of these rescued animals are medically rehabilitated and released back into the wild. Through the care and passion of this dedicated team of animal care specialists, these ill, injured and abandoned animals are given a second chance at life.
