@Roadkill325 wow, calm down.... its opinion. and no its not.... I think math is very important, (and i kind of like it)

but its not the most important thing in the world. you can make it through life with basic math. and besides your logic is terrible. just because i don't think its the most important thing in the world doesn't mean i don't know how to do it. I may hate math (which i don't) but i might still get a job that pays extremely well and relies on it a lot..... so calm down, TROLL

here is how to make a torch blink like a real lightouse

_ & | = redstone wire

|o| = redstone torch on a block

i = redstone torch on the side of a block

R = redstone repeater

okay ill try again.

its a 2 x 6 rectangle

on the bottom middle is a redstone repeater

on the top right is a redstone torch on a block

on the bottom right is a redstone torch on the side of the block

In the other 3 places put redstone wire.
