Water Sounds of One

This was from a trip up to the Carbon River entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. There was a bridge about one mile before the park entrance that had this creek running under it and I wanted to get a closer look. This was the footage from there. It was a very nice sunny day up here in the Pacific Northwest and this area was so peaceful. There was a tent right by the water but no one was there when I shot this, they must have been up hiking. This water ran down into the Carbon River itself just a few hundred yards downstream from here. The white noise from the water was soothing and it felt great to be up in nature feeling alone and isolated from the rest of the world. Hope you enjoy.

ps. Filmed with my Panasonic HD camera with sound recorded directly to the device. I then edited the footage in imovie 09 and export it out to a quicktime file to then upload to Youtube.

wow, the start was very interesting with the camera effect. Is it just me or does this little creek have a real big kind of feel to it. always nice to see the sun out in your videos, always brings the water out nice.

I was using the cartoon filter effect at the beginning. This was some powerful and cold water coming down the mountain so it did have a big presence for such a small creek. We had a ton of snow this last winter so the melt off is pretty strong. We have been having some pretty great weather lately so I was fortunate to capture the sun. My little camera does so much better with proper lighting that it does make a huge difference in quality. Thanks for the comment and hope life is treating you well
