I didn't know she was the stage constructing witch, i was just saying, her minions are purple, and their Madoka, and Homura's soul gem is purple, and she wished to protect madoka, so I thought that was her, but I guess not....... :(

@Pufflelover2684 Just read, the gears are related to stage production. So says her offical designer InuCurry. Note the rising curtains and the circus before she appears. Her witch card even states that she's the stage constructing witch.

@Pufflelover2684 We'll know for sure, probably, when the PSP game is released.

And to putting the guns in her shield, yeah she upgraded herself. But she still doesn't use magic directly to attack Walpurgis. It's all physical things.

And Walpurgis's minions are more space-blue than purple I'd say, like Walpurgis is more navy blue than violet. Her minions, based on what information we've been given, are probably supposed to be the other magical girls who's witches it's absorbed

@Pufflelover2684 The time gears could simply be a symbolic reference to how is only appears around certain times, most notably ON tactual Walpurgis Night.

Perhaps even then we're over thinking it. They might just be something to the designers made to show off their mad skills. Since Urobochi confirmed it's a fusion of several witches, and Madoka didn't mention it being Homura's witch in their interaction in the afterlife... the likeliness of this rumor being true is small.

@Pufflelover2684 Pretty sure that wasn't Madoka. but just a random Puella Magi that looked similar. In the manga, they even take the form of Mami, Sayaka and Kyoko and attack directly.

More likely, Walpurgisnacht (festival where witches gather) like her name suggests is an amalgamation of all witches, or more accurately, the collective despair of all Puella Magi. When Madoka erased all witches, Walpurgis simply fell apart as the very things sustaining her were erased.

@Pufflelover2684 Every witch is in every timeline. Homura has fought every single witch that appears in Mitakihara during the time cycle numerous times. We just don't get to see it. This is why Homura knew Charlotte was going to be difficult for Mami, and why she knew exactly how to kill it.
