  • My father tought the first poem at my age of 5 and it was lab pe aati hai duaa banketamanna meri. Inshallah, I have translated Shikwa and Jawabe Shikwa in Bengali. Yes I am from Bangladesh.

    more than 80% of Iqbal's poetry is in Persian..and less than 10% Pakistanis understand Persian; therefore about all Pakistanis need learn Persian before they could read Iqbal.

    He was in my opinion, a great critique of everyone.

    And Pakistan has not seen a better Urdu poet than Faiz.. He lived the horrors of Iqbal's dream, yet he never let go of optimism.

    Terey firaq main hum dil bura nahin kertay.
