Whatever Happen to the Class of '65 was a short-lived series back in the 1970's. Here is actually 8mm film of the Class of 1965 as it waited on the sports fields prior to being graduated and then you see the over 500 kids "walking" to get their diplomas. From that date forward, the lives of every single one of these graduates was changed forever by the Viet Nam War, death, college, marriage, child birth, parenting, empty nest, burying our parents and older relatives and friends, and now these once young folks are facing the final challenges of life: aging, health issues, retirement or the inability to retire, grandparenting, surfing or playing volleyball with artificial hips, knees, and other body parts mended. Look at our faces. If you are young, consider that in 40 or 50 years from the day of your graduation, you too, will have navigated whatever challenges life brings your way and you may post a similar video. Perhaps your video will be of a much better quality, but your face and the faces of your friends will look very much as we looked--blissfully unaware of the future and happy to be with our friends on this last time together.
It's amazing how much things have changed after the 1960's . I graduated from MCHS in 1971 and the very next day my parents moved to Price , Utah . Talk about culture shock . I really enjoyed watching your video . Thank You
