Marjan Kalhor was the first woman in history to represent Iran in Winter Olympics games, at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. She was disqualified early in the competition and did not get a gold for Iran, but an Islamic Iranian poet (Mowlavi) wrote:

"You were young once and then you were more contented: Now you have become a seeker of Gold, but at first you were Gold indeed."

"Everyone has become a Gold seeker, but the ordinary do not know it when they see it. If you cannot recognize it, join a wise man."

The Islamic Republic of Iran is indeed a nation that maintains this concept alive, by having freed itself from oppressors and maintaining their self-determination against a world of pressures, by the aid of wise men.

The Revolution launched a widespread literacy campaign from 30-40% during the US-backed Shah dictators...hip to a 90% literacy rate today. It has brought forward innovations in being self-sufficient in the field of vehicle and space technology, nano-tech, nuclear and medicine technology and energy, laser technology, architecture, voting turnout of more than 30-40 million, widespread meritocracy, Shiite calvinism, 70% of university students are women, among them from many poor families. Subsidized health care, insurance, oil money distribution, VAT tax that is distributed directly to the public, political independence and more.

  • women are not useless tools.

  • germanicus24,

    He/ she is not beast

Dont give him a big title.

He is an ignorant or a loser!

    Just ignore him/her.

  • No kidding Sherlock, that is why you make so little sense, one can conclude.

  • I don't believe in God, if that is what you mean.

  • Bush was rather many more times given a divine mission from the Atheist cult to invade Iraq:

Oil, weapons' industry, geopolitical strategies, and a series of excuses which all assume there is no God above watching over our corrupted acts.

  • So because Bush said there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, it means that there were, regardless of the behavior of reality completely contradicting the statement. You seem to follow a twisted religion called Atheism which makes you believe in such fairy tales with no regard for reality.

  • well, you claim to know that Bush was not given a mission from God as he claimed. I asked if that was so far-fetched since you claimed that no violence could come from religion. Being skeptical about someone claiming to have knowledge about a covert motivation conflicting with report for Bush IS for me to use reason. You, on the other hand, must use divine insight I presume?

  • You should at least claim to have reasoning (since let us assume you have a brain). Else we should conclude you just borrow your reasoning from third people.

  • I wouldn't know. I'm not the one claiming to know.

  • Bush said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Obama said he was change... So? You judge politicians by the lies they say or by their acts and motors that drive them?
