I am from Izmir (Smyrna) and I attend church on sundays in my district of Goztepe (Enopi) (: there is a little church called St Marys here, and there is also one in Alsancak, St Polycarps which I also attend (: Very beautiful church! All my friends are muslim but accept me just the same at everyone else, Izmir is such an open minded place! I suggest you visit (:

Which is more surprising, the Turks allow a church to be opened or that it is a protestant church led by a Spaniard (I never met a protestant Spaniard).

i as a protestant christian have a deep respect for my orthodox(greek,assyrian,armenian,copts,ethio's, and all other ethnicities) brothers. but at the same time, i must admit, that it is important for turkish christians to be able to worship Christ in their own language and without being stigmatized as ''mongols''. as christians we should forgive the past(as painful as it is) and love all humanity as Jesus commanded because he turns all things new. look at St. Paul's example!!
