@JLEGuitarLessons Same thing. You still do the pulling down motion, but you don't have a string on which to come to rest.
You also have to be careful that you don't pull the first string off the fretboard and make buzzes or other weird noises.

Cool. Then what do you teach for pull offs on the high E string?
