so why is it the mother is seen to be the primary carer of the children, taking them to the dentists, picking them up from school etc, because the father has a full time job supporting them all and can't do it himself! so much for the primary carer laws, they are just another weapon to use against fathers.

Your such a compassionate soul - your father must be very proud.

@JayZea48 My father is an architect and has done a lot for the city where I was born, and I am proud of him for what he has done in his profession. When I see these miserable 'men' who cannot afford dignity because they have a mortgage, who are not interested in affection because they have porno, who would deprive thier children of mother because they cannot take care of the family, all I can say that you cannot call yourself human beings.

@JayZea48 don't put labels on people you don't know - it is not legal. I've got 2 master degrees, speak 3 languages, work, own my home and in happy relationship. Desperate degraded men like those who separate mothers with children are just of no interest for me. With your comments you just prove again and again that you are agressive, spermotoxicoze affected attention seekers.

All these men are fighting for an assumption 'A child must have the right to have 50/50 contact with both parents' that has no sense! Because A RIGHT CANNOT BE ASSUMED AND ENFORCED!Its not a matter of time a child spends with the. ENFORCEMENTS AND ASSUMPTIONS DEPRIVE PARTIES OF THEIR RIGHTS!That's what you guys are fighting for, because obviously you cannot get a child's contact through peaceful measures like moral and financial support.
"The best interests of the child are to be considered paramount..."
But what are those best interests? There's no definition; it should be explicitly stated what, in general, those best interests are, and that statement should include the assumption that a father is equally important in the child's upbringing. From that position, good cause should have to be evidenced before the child's interests can be read to mean separation from the father.
