How to tie your grid on the top of your new Square Foot Garden. This method uses Mason's string and screws that have about a centimeter of their head above the surface of the wood. Make sure you pull tight and wrap each one more than once.

  • This is a great idea!! I was trying to think of so many items that I could use! This is perfect and I can always freshen up the twine the following season. Thank you!!!

  • i used butchers twine and it is working for me

  • Thank You! I'm going to put mine together tomorrow!

  • The twine held up until the very end of the season. I am looking for something a little stronger, but I'd use it again.

  • How well did the mason line hold up? Did it make it through the season? I used twine last year with a similar set up and the rain and Texas heat caused it to rot away by July.
