Intermediate I. Week 1. Day 1.

This video was shot on 24.07.2010 and to my biggest surprise temperature dropped from ~+30C to just bellow +20C and it felt like early autumn. Interestingly enough day after temp. rise to near +30C again, which is uncommon for Finland. It was probably the hottest summer ever (in FIN).

My first intention was to shoot this vid for "The day in life" campaign, but when messing with mic, I decided not to participate in this program.

Anyway enjoy the show and comment, if you have any questions. Thanks. AiR25 Out. Remember - I'm yet practicing.

  • To ever one who says do every thing as fast as you can. NO. I was coached by a Iceland semipro basketball star. Take it slow feel the ball feel the way your hands move when you are running through the motions the game of basketball is not always how hard you play but how sharp and smart you play your cards I am probably the slowest point guard you will ever meat but I don't need speed I need to see the court and players on the court what they are doing and judge where I need to be to get that g

  • @MP5KProductions You made point. That's exactly what I am talking about. It's not about how hard you train or play, but how smart. I.g. this quote is making it's way more and more into powerlifting and strenght training. More and harder is better is one of the Dogma. Break it and evolve. However *more and harder* doesn't mean that it's always a bad thing. Especially at the beginning phase you need more quantity and strive for quality, Usually you can't have quality right from the start.

  • would you recommend i buy this program.. its expensive but i will commit to getting better

  • @aznerd999 Depends on your goals. What are they?

  • "For Every Drill, Every Move, Every Burst, Every Dribble, Every Combination, For Everything, YOU NEED TO PERFORM IT AS FAST AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN" - Alex Maroko

do you think that you are going by this principle that alex said?

  • @castaway140 Sure, because otherwise the ball will fly out of my hands. ("Fast, but not Sloppy" - Alex) Plus that was just a start. I'm not even trying to be as fast as Alex, since it's not even required to get past an opponent. The main reason I followed this program was to get a better feel for a ball and preform various combinations/moves easily.

  • @castaway140 idk the exact quote alex said but i do know that someone in the program in the beginning he said do it as fast as you possibly can without losing the ball. dont go so fast you are losing the ball all the time because you arnt benifiting yourself at all

  • I thought I was going to make JV, turns out. Everyone thinks I'm weak. I have no Basketball IQ and can't make smart decisions when passing the ball.

  • I did this over the summer of 2011 as an 8th grader going to 9th and it only helped a little. I got all the way up to Intermediate II and yet my handles weren't even that good. I couldn't even mix people that well. I don't understand how people supposedly get better handles after beginner cause that shit didn't work.

  • @GLYDE8 Can u send me a copy of this program?

  • @GLYDE8 Can i have a copy of this program?
