the scarf covering face, the scarf being used as a head wrap didn't feel original thus not as empowering I.M.O. -- but was still beautiful nonetheless. but i bet a scarf covering your face is a lot easier to model to and express with cuz you're actually really hiding behind a veil.

Hi Isobella... while agree that the photography work needs to be left to the pro's not Tyra, I totally disagree with you about the concept of the scarves. I agree there are lots of different ways to shoot beauty. I really feel the concept was ethnically driven and produced a fanciful and whimsical look. Theres only so many ways to shoot wet hair and jewelry. I like shooting the essence of the women and I think the scarf concept did that, it was powerful. Just my different point of view, thanks.
