"Watch the zeitgeist movie.."
I would recommend you watch the MANY refutations of the fallacious arguments of zeitgeist.

That makes perfect sense to me YTK. I was trying to figure out how many of the baptisms in Acts were of water and how many were without water but when we look at the example Yahshua set forth for us to follow, it is perfectly clear. Thank you for helping me understand this.
God bless.

Do you have resources that can help in the study of the names? I have tried explaining what I have learned to my husband, but they sound so foreign to him. I would like to understand it and be able to help him understand it. So many things we were taught were wrong, and it literally makes me sick to my stomach how subtle satan is. How he can beguile us so easily.

Your courage is greatly appreciated. Scripture says "and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". Last year I began to teach the authentic name of our LORD to our fellowship group...Most received it...but I recognized that it "ruffled some feathers" because it was new for them. So many Americans have a badly warped view of everything. Culturally, Americans think they're the center of the universe in every subject area, including Faith. This is sad.
i want to be baptised in the name of yahshua yahweh ect i dont want to be baptised with some false jesus god name. any ideas brother? YAH bless.

@datsunfairladyz My advice is to study out all of the possible names and pray and ask for guidance. I have met people who get rebaptized into a name like Yahweh, Yahuwah, Jehovah, Yehovah and Yehshua, Yahshua, Y'shua etc only to regret it a year or two later when they read another article or see another video giving them an even more compelling argument why the name should be pronounced another way. You have to realize that it is very possible that no one is saying any of the names correctly.

So what do you think is the AGE minimum for a valid baptism? Just an age of understanding the commitment and symbolism, or should you be an adult?

I would say that the person should be mature enough to realize what this life changing commitment means. Do they really understand all that is involved. Do they understand that it is a life long commitment, not just a religious experience. I personally feel that most Americans are pretty immature and should be counselled well before baptism. It's individual but it would be better if the person were some where over 18 years old but there could be exceptions. 21 good and 25 even better.

Enlightening videos brother. I was totally unaware of the origins of the name Jesus.
Something that has been on my mind is that I have never been baptised (apart from Catholic baptism as a child which I don't count), nor had hands laid on me.
I have felt the power of the Holy Spirit in my life more often than I can count since becoming Christian two months ago though.
Would baptism enhance my connection with the Holy Spirit yet more?
God bless,
Dannii.

Yes, Even Yahshua as born filled with the Holy Spirit and as an example for us as an adult not a child, He got baptised. Then we see in Acts and other books that the normal procedure to receive the HOly spirit was to be baptized and then to have hands laid on and prayer for the holy spirit. Yes the holy spirit can work with a person and help them even before baptism, but it would be correct to do it the biblical way. It can only help you not hurt. Yahshua did it, you should do it : )
