Television played in Dublin at Vicar Street on June 15th 2002 & I was lucky enough to be there. Tom even introduces the band at the end of the song!
As a dumb struck teenager I was entranced by the strange & haunting sound of "Marquee Moon" from my big brothers album collection in the late seventies. Twenty five years after it was first released I finally got to see them play it live, along with the other numbers you can see uploaded to my channel here. It was worth the wait. OK, the picture's a bit ropey but the sound isn't bad is it?
I uploaded nine numbers from the gig about a year ago. Finally I got around to uploading the other five numbers...all good things come to those who wait!
Enjoy some more...

Ps. I've just realised the set list I've posted on some numbers uploaded is not in the correct order as performed by the guys on the night. I'll correct it soonish...
This version is not seedy enough, the original recording is hard to beat.

I love this band. The're one of the greatest gems of the late 70's.
Can't help thinking about a butterfly when listening to that song. If you're a fan and want to read a second-by-second review of this masterpiece - go there :

i'm not too impressed with this version of LJJ... but 1978 only happens once, and age seems to have taken a toll on them. thanks for the video though. i'm a huge fan regardless!
