amigo,

i've been to brazil i am not brazillian by blood...but i am fluent in portugues.i'm not saying the game wasnt good. i've met jamaika many times and have always been impressed. i would say that the game was more "duro" than mandingado. there was more positioning and good kicking than setting of traps.

i used quotation marks to highlight the word... not to say its not a real word.

i dont mean to upset anyone, i was only making an observation and expressing my opinion.

i dont see whats so "mandingado" about that game lol. Granted both of these men are amazing capoeiristas, but there wasnt and real sorcery shown. ~Confiante

Confiante, are you Brazilian? Maybe you just don't know what mandinga means, my friend... Don't you see their balanço do corpo? The rasteiras and vingativas marked just enough to show and then a contra golpe following? Or the cabeçada at the end? Please understand the difference between malicia and mandinga. Also, sorcery is not mandinga. And please don't put mandingado in quotation marks as it is a real word.
