Aloha my name is Ahonui! I have created this site especially for you! Learn the Hawaiian Language from home. You will need to purchase your book for $5 from this site: http://www.olelo.hawaii.edu/khuok/hknke.php (Copy and paste the link into your browser. Make sure there are no spaces in the link). Please continue to check back for more free videos on the Hawaiian Language. I am planning on conducting a whole course online.

  • @2553shean Yes, there are similarities between those languages because they are all members of the Polynesian language family. With regard to shared innovations in languages, Hawaiian, Marquesan, Tahitian, Maori and Rapanuian are more closely related to one another than Tongan or Samoan, and they form their own subgroup referred to as Eastern Polynesian languages. Their shared innovations have more to do with the natural evolution of languages than crossbreeding.

  • Ready to Try Hawaiian - Yep !

  • can I get your test? I would like to learn hawaiian language. thank you
