  • Once again I'd like to thank all of you who has commented and watched my clip here on youtube :) It makes me so happy to see that so many of you enjoyed listening to it! The song "dopvals" means if you translate it from swedish to english "the waltz of a baptism", where "dop" means baptism and "vals" waltz.

  • I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you who have watched my video and commented on it. I'm so glad that so many of you have enjoyed it and other melodies are to come..! Have a great day everybody! :)

  • Mycket bra spelat, hur länge har du spelat? Och vem har byggt din nyckelharpa?

  • Tack så mycket, jag har spelat i ca 7 år. Det är en jätte duktig nyckelharpsbyggare som heter Hasse Zetterberg.

  • Nice job on a beautiful tune.

  • Thank you!

  • Jätte bra! :) Vem/vart har du lärt dig spela?

  • What a beautifully melancholic sound. Sweet and well played!

  • @soetasmurfen you're an angel.

  • Wow, this tune reminds me of one of my own tunes called "For my mother" or "Till mor". Really beautiful! How long have you been playing nyckelharpa?

  • @NormanFitzNicely no, i totally agree, but this person wanted to find music that sounds like this and i gave the closest classification i could think of :) but i agree, music shouldnt be so much about classification, it should just be felt where it matters: in your heart! :)

  • @Heath75032 At first yes, but it holds the tuning much better than a violin

  • @apfelstrudelmaster

World music is a meaningless term which appears to be "Music from somewhere with a culture I know nothing about"

Where do you expect music to come from - outer space?

It's just a beautiful melody and doesn't need to be put in a pigeonhole for people to get it.

  • It awesome, I love it.

Howz it werld music if your the one on the other side of the world?

  • @justingerritsenmusic i would classify it as world music! =)

  • stilig sjanger på norsk; "dopvals" hah. spøk til side, nydelig spilt.
