  • I should make it clear that you really only need to change the special gfx bitflag when transferring to different areas. I've just gotten in the habit of doing it to all rooms so I can move them freely without worrying about any problems. The creator of SMILE himself is the one that taught me that trick, so I know it's a reliable source.

  • nice vid!!!!!

much better description than other texts!

  • Thanks. I tried to keep it as simple as possible.

  • Why are you changing GFX Bitflags? Last I remember, those don't even need to be touched when door editing.

  • It makes for a clean transition from one area to another. Otherwise there would be "vomit"

  • thank

  • @Trilike10 No clue. But make sure you have the right type of rom, a (JU) one is needed. If that doesn't work, maybe try using older versions of SMILE and see if you can get any of them to work. Even on older unpowerful computers, it should work. But there may be other compatibility issues.

  • SMILE didn't let me get to the room I selected. It froze when I tried to get into the room. Do you know why?

  • Thanks, now I can mess with some minds in my new hack.

  • @gabrieldev Yeah, SMILE is safe. I've heard of some virus softwares thinking it's a virus because it doesn't recognize it. But it's just like any other program. I don't know why your computer would break, but I'm sure it's not related to SMILE.

  • um before my computer brock.is SMILE safe?

  • You'd have to be more specific on what problems you're having with it. This method should work fine. Done it hundreds of times. Are you using SMILE 2.5?

  • and works!

  • it´s very good!
