I think that he poisoned ur sharpedo because he may have thort that it had a sash, like most do. He may also have had no effecitive moves against sharpedo or it could have been a stall blastoise.

Sharpedo is my personal fav as well, its best to describe them as a 'Glass Canon'.
They can deliver the goods, but they have trouble receiving hits themselves.

@XSonictheH And taunt definitely needs to be replaced by a high-power water type move. I'd suggest if the Sharpedo is Attack based, then Waterfall but if it is Special Attack based, then Surf. Waterfall and Surf are great HM moves.

i have a sharpedo but its out classed by my orther pokemon dose it get stronger when you raise it its only level 44

Not quite. Sharpedo is too frail. Skull Bash needs a turn to charge and sharpedo cant afford to wait a turn before attacking, its too frail. Ice fang is alright for dragons, Night slash is alright if you are looking for a critical hit ratio but Crunch is overall better. For taunt.. it might be useful if you want to stop annoyers but you need waterfall in a set.
