I agree with robert on the "shelf" effect. I love a woman with a large round ass. as for breasts i differ (robert can take or leave 'em) in that I like large ones (d cup and up). this is mainly because my first girlfriend was very well endowed and kind of got that stuck in my head. But from looking at roberts's great drawings, he has an admiration for a woman that LOOKS like a woman! some meat on her bones! not these anorexic looking skinny chicks who I look at and think "eat something, sheesh!"

I'm guessing that Robert Crumb likes the "shelf effect" because his greatest thrill is getting women to give him piggyback rides. The "shelf" created by a woman's protruding butt forms a kind of a seat, preventing Crumb from sliding off the woman's back when he rides them around.
