WHITES in BLACKface portray MOORS in Europe: Festival of Moors & Christians

Almost 800 years of coexistence between Muslims and Christians gives a lot of substance for the festival of Moors and Christians. You can participate in this historical play almost every month in some town or village of the Spanish Mediterranean coast.

There is hardly a castle without a role in the struggle for supremacy over Al-Andalus, an Arabic name for the land ruled by Muslims in 711-1492. In its widest it covered modern Spain, except for Asturias, most of Portugal and the southern part of France.

In some towns the stage performance goes on for days, featuring the most important phases of local history. The scenes of many battles, schemes and alliances take place in town squares, castles, harbours etc.

Most of the plays start from the reconquest, the process by which Christians re-conquered the Iberian peninsula. Depending on the town, the closing scene of the play involves the conversion of Moors to Christianity or their expulsion to Africa.

This is just yet another small piece of the multitude of concrete evidence showing the actual race of the original Moors. Certainly there were indeed non-black Moors particularly AFTER the initial conquests. There are a number of reasons for this. The Moorish invasion was not one of race but of religion. There were many non-black Muslims. In fact the very purpose of the invasion was rooted in a desire to spread and expand the Muslim faith.

Any of the conquered had the opportunity to convert to the faith. Additionally, and most importantly. The original primarily black Moorish invaders did NOT bring their women with them or return to Africa to get them. There was no need for that. Unlike the Spanish invasion and subsequent conquest of North America the intent was not to find or acquire anything because the Moors left what is by far the wealthiest continent on earth.

So naturally they took concubines; harems; and wives of the white skinned natives. This fact is historically recorded. In fact, treaties were later signed wherein the Moorish conquerors required a tribute of 100 virgins per year.

Due to a lack of birth control coupled with a concerted desire to reproduce, it is safe to presume that within just a few years there were literally hundreds of half-black or mulatto children of Moors in their midst. Within just the first century there would be many thousands of these mixed race offspring of the Moors who would still be raised to be Muslims and Moors themselves and the children of Moorish kings and leaders would rise to power as leaders as well. This is common sense.


The first invaders brought no women with them. This way a large part of the second generation Moors were actually half Hispanic. Many Christians also converted to Muslims or adopted their customs while still maintaining their Christian rituals. Mozarabs, Renegades and Muladis were all Christians or former Christians who embraced Islam and often fought against their former compatriots.

Again... unless the "black as night" Moors (as they historically were referred to by the conquered Europeans were to regularly return to Africa to bring back black women, there would be a natural lightening of the complexion of the Moors and a blending of the races.

So for all of these reasons, OF COURSE, only common sense would dictate that after even one generation there would be a lightening of the Moors. What is truly most surprising is that the presence of the black Moors has not and cannot be erased from the memory of those whose ancestors lived it in spite of largely Western Eurocentrist attempts to completely whitewash the Moorish legacy.

Perhaps one reason for this is that some of the whitest Europeans may yet realize that they have ancestors who were great and powerful, conquered much of Europe and were also "BLACK AS INK!"

Desperate Eurocentrists want to use this fact to write African negroes completing out of history (as they always do). Apparently Spain and most of Europe (where I've lived and traveled for a number of years) just did not get the memo because the black african presence of Negro Moors as the original Moors and as Rulers, Leaders, Priests and KINGS is all over Europe and still seen on many of the town and city and family crests.

Crests; black-a-Moor artifacts; elaborate (and very expensive paintings); statues; gates; coats of arms; etc. The evidence cannot be refuted.

This festival of Moors and Christians is yet another piece of evidence to the historical truth that Eurocentrists want to cover up.

In other words with just 7 generations of inbreeding with a majority white population the descendants of original black Moors would literally b composed of just 0.78% of their original BLACK DNA.
