@chriscross584 Maybe that's a thought but in the next shot after the one where he falls at the camera, there are no workers anywhere near him.

Many cameramen put their hand over the camera at the end of a scene to make editing easier. For example, when an editor sees the hand over the camera, he knows that's the end of the shot and can cut it there. It could have been somebody doing that a little early, or maybe the shot was supposed to be cut there but they wanted to extend it.

@bubblesman01 Thanks for watching and thank you for the comment!
I've worked on a couple independent movies & many commercials. I believe what you are referring to is the second assistant cameraman or 'clapper loader'. At the beginning of each shot he'll hold up the clapper, which has the relevant scene info written on it, & clap for sync. At the end of the shot, after the director yells 'cut', he'll perform an end slate, hold the clapper upside down in frame & (sometimes) clap sync again.

@M4levolence Yeah, I noticed the hand when I was watching it. Of course I'd seen it dozens of times before I actually saw the hand so I think fate may have been more involved.

Boy you're good! I hate it when they shoot scenes in almost total darkness. Why did they even bother to build sets.Even watching on larger and better screens does no good. You know what I mean? Love your channel !!

@zelda47 I do know what you mean! Another movie where they shot at night and you really couldn't see anything was The Expendables. The entire end action sequence was in the dark and I was like, "what's going on? Who are these people?"
I love finding little things like the hand-in-frame shot in movies. It lets me know that the film makers are human too and it's a good way to enjoy a movie I've seen several times. Thanks for the comment!
