Looks like a clip from some English TOtP-type show, maybe fellow YT users can help me with this one. Either way, Dave and the boys run through Elvis Costello's "Girls Talk," apparently on the same rooftop where they shot a few 45 covers for Carlene Carter.

  • thanks elephantrange, you have the superior knowledge..-when i listen to the break i always thought there was a bit of violin in there, the sound seemed more than a guitar...cheers for the quick reply!

  • @eurochrissy2 SOUNDS LIKE a guitar w/ doubled tremolo & slight reverb through an Ampeg amp.

  • @chairmanmeow1973 - Terry Williams drummed with Man - guitarists Deke Leornad, Martin Ace and the late great Micky Jones - link

  • could anyone tell me,what instrument is being used to create the sound on the instrumental break at 2.09 ? ,bugged me for years..........Dave was good mates with Keith Moon, and this is a decent track ..

  • @kwertieyt While we're at it, let's suspend the accounts of people with no sense of humor and take things inappropriately seriously.
