I have to say that the way he sings is kind of familiar among Israeli singers.
I don't mean that he's not original, but usually when u speak Hebrew on daily basis the everyday tone is very loud so actually when we r more quiet we r trying to be more serious so maybe it is something that kind of imprinted itself to his art because his Mother language is still Hebrew.
