Actually, Gordon DID win it,he accumulated the most points that season. Jimmie Just Got the championship for winning the stupid chase.

i havent missed a single race at charlotte in over 10 years, and ive seen jeff when he was unstoppable at charlotte and when he was in this "slump" and i got sick of going every year and leaving early cause jeff would wreck but this win right here keeps me buying the tickets at charlotte for a good long while now haha!!! GO JEFF!!
