Interesting episode, you can really hear on Helloween's first two Keepers albums that they are heavily influenced by early Queensrÿche (EP~The Warning era). Queensrÿche put prog metal on the map in the mid of 80's and before that many bands sound like a faster heavy metal band so the sound wasn't there yet until prog elements without keyboards were added and we got bands in 1985 such as Fates Warning who tried to sound like Queensrÿche but ended up playing another style people are unfamiliar w.
