Scott Speed attempting to change a tire

At Red Bull Fan Day on Friday May 22, 2009, Scott Speed was challenged by one of the pit crew guys to a little tire changing competition on the cars that they had set up for fans to try. This was his attempt at doing it. I apologize for the quality of this, I am still getting used to my new camera and I am not sure what that weird line is or why it appeared in the video.

I know it isn't but it's the one that they had set up at RBR Fan Day to showcase the pit crew guys and let people try their hand at tire changing.

@NPogar He didn't try? Where are you gonna go if you're driving a car that can barely keep up with the pack? Toro Rosso was horrible in it's first years and Scott Speed and Liuzzi had to find that out the hard way. Every F1 driver is good at his job, if he doesn't have the equipment, he can't perform. The backmarkers in F1 are great drivers with bad teams. It's not Scott's fault. Put him in a Ferrari and he'd compete for wins. Come on. I don't want to argue, but look at it realistically.

@82ScottSpeed Well, I know that if I had a car jacked up with an airgun it would take me a lot less than 3:52min to change a single tire.

Nonetheless, Scott Speed is a bitch for many other reasons than the time it takes him to change a tire.

You're right, he's not 'trying his ass off', maybe if he ever did he'd still be in F1.
