@gigparfr Oh I remember "Housewives' Choice" very well, even though I was just a schoolkid back then. Good old BBC Light Programme, just the very name brings back fond childhood memories.

@annie482000 It was also a favourite on "Housewives' choice" on the BBC Radio Light service in the early 60's which I used to listen to in Paris when I was at home in the morning although I wasn't (and isn't) a housewife !
