clearly some did not shoot, while others shot over the heads of the students rather than at them even tho all troops know they have the right to refuse to carry out any order they feel is illegal or against the constitution. I read 4 dead 12 wounded. 2 dead were not even in the protest, just students walking to class on campus. One boy permanently paralyzed for life. This is history revisionism at its worst. For a better understanding of the events of that time, try reading "Slouching Toward Gommorrah" by Robert Bork.
