This is my favourite Vanity track of all time. I lived in LA when she was on the scene I now live back in London where I was born and it saddens me that a lot of brtish people don't remember her BUT you and I and many others do.

I love this song but it was sad too. Didn'y know it was about Prince which makes it even sadder. I was obsessed with her and I was gay too so it wasn't about sex I felt something really deep about her, that she was quite etheral. This track is amazing.

@griscomm I agree. . . . not to many people thought about the lyrics of this song. . . ."The Prince and the Show Girl" tells the whole story of Prince discovering her in the movie theater. . . . . .and that she actually thought they would get married is quite sad. . . .my favorite song from Vanity. . .. .Thanks for getting it too!!!!
