This tablet is much better then the ipad I had and sold. LG G-Slate runs on 850/1800/1900 MHz AND 900/1700/2100 MHz GSM for AT&T and T-mobile bands plus USB host in and better screen, runs on 4g network which is very fast, and 1080p video recording plus better overall OS.
Not really hating on Apple, but for the price you pay, this tablet give you more for your money, just a slightly smaller screen, which is what I wanted, as it easier to hold.

@panathabro I'm not planning on buying any tablet PC's. And my HTC Hero is two years old and works perfectly well. Also, Apple were not the first company to do tablet computing, so really, an iPad is just a "wannabe" of Microsoft's first tablet PC in 2002.

So much controversy when it comes to electronics. I was the first to try it out today, Glasses and All... Thankful to my hometown T-Mobile reps for letting me in on the secret. I think it is better than an any other electronic around. just to watch a movie in 3D will be awesome. What will they come up with next? Go T-Mobile Go...

DO NOT BUY THE LG G-SLATE!!! LG LOCKED THE BOOTLOADER, T_MOBILE SAYS DEVELOPMENT IS NOT SUPPORTED ON THE DEVICE. THE SLATE SHIPS WITH A CRIPPLED 3.1 BUILD OF ANDROID, NO USB-HOST, NO NETFLIX, NO USBMOUNT, STUTTERED VIDEO CAPTURE/PLAYBACK. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR PC WITHOUT SOFTWARE WHICH MEANS IT WILL NOT WORK IN THE REAL WORLD WHEN YOU NEED IT TO. THIS IS UNSUPPORTED BY LG AND T-MOBILE DO NOT BUY!!!
